Disponible en:RTU007372http://hdl.handle.net/20.500.12423/7703Introducción: El contacto piel con piel (CPP) es un procedimiento que se aplica si la madre y el recién nacido (RN) están en buen estado, consiste en ubicar inmediatamente al RN sobre el vientre materno por el profesional de salud y este debe ser en un tiempo no menor de 45 a 60 minutos. Método: La investigación fue cualitativa, de diseño descriptivo, tuvo como objetivo, comprender, describir y analizar el CPP desde las experiencias de madres que acuden a un centro de salud de Lambayeque, 2023. La población estuvo conformada por 37 madres puérperas atendidas en el Centro de Salud Toribia Castro Chirinos, la muestra fue de 12 participantes, el muestreo no probabilístico, por conveniencia y la técnica que se empleó para recoger los datos fue la conversacional, con una guía de entrevista semiestructura como instrumento validada por juicio de expertos y por piloto una vez aprobado el proyecto por el comité de ética en investigación de la Facultad de Medicina; los datos fueron examinados mediante el análisis de contenido y se cumplió con criterios de rigor ético y científico en toda la investigación. Resultados: Emergieron cinco categorías: sentimientos vividos por las madres durante el CPP, el CPP como primera y única experiencia, el CPP como propiciador del inicio del vínculo filial madre-niño, importancia del CPP para el inicio de la LM en la primera hora de vida y participación de las enfermeras durante el CPP. Conclusión: El CPP es una experiencia única, que genera sentimientos positivos en la madre como, emoción, felicidad y alegría, que conlleva a una sensación de alivio y tranquilidad vs nerviosísimo, además es un método que propicia el inicio de la lactancia materna en la primera hora de vida y el vínculo madre-niño, en el que, el profesional de enfermería tiene una participación importante.Introduction: Skin-to-skin contact (SPC) is a procedure that is applied if the mother and the newborn (NB) are in good condition. Method: The research was qualitative, with a descriptive design, its objective was to understand, describe and analyze the CPP from the experiences of mothers who attend a health center in Lambayeque, 2023. Results: Five categories emerged: feelings experienced by mothers during the CPP, the CPP as the first and only experience, the CPP as a facilitator of the beginning of the mother-child filial bond, the importance of the CPP for the start of BF in the first hour of life and participation of nurses during the CPP.
