Aplicación web basada en DDMRP para mitigar la rotura de stock en la empresa 3R Risaralda Steels and Industrial Recycling S.A.C.

Abstract

En esta investigación, se implementó la metodología DDMRP a través de un proceso ágil Scrum, dividido en 4 sprints, con el objetivo de implementar una aplicación web utilizando DDMRP para mitigar la rotura de stock en el inventario de la empresa 3R Risaralda Steels and Industrial Recycling S.A.C. En el primer objetivo, se logró una integración exitosa de DDMRP en la aplicación web, cumpliendo el 100% de los requisitos funcionales establecidos. El segundo objetivo se enfocó en determinar los niveles de buffer para la reposición de stock, utilizando un análisis de sensibilidad que demostró reducciones significativas en el inventario y mejoras en el flujo de caja. En cuanto al tercer objetivo, la medición del desempeño reveló una disminución extraordinaria del índice de rotura de stock, del 20.61% al 0.61%, demostrando una eficacia del 99% en la gestión de inventario. Estos resultados destacan la efectividad de la implementación de DDMRP, no solo en la integración técnica sino también en los beneficios financieros tangibles, subrayando la relevancia y el potencial de esta metodología para optimizar la gestión de inventario y mejorar la eficiencia operativa en entornos empresariales complejos.

In this research, the DDMRP methodology was implemented through an agile Scrum process, divided into 4 sprints, with the objective of implementing a web application using DDMRP to mitigate the stock breakage in the inventory of 3R Risaralda Steels and Industrial Recycling S.A.C. company. In the first objective, a successful integration of DDMRP in the web application was achieved, meeting 100% of the established functional requirements. The second objective focused on determining buffer levels for stock replenishment, using a sensitivity analysis that demonstrated significant reductions in inventory and improvements in cash flow. As for the third objective, performance measurement revealed an extraordinary decrease in the stock-out rate, from 20.61% to 0.61%, demonstrating a 99% efficiency in inventory management. These results highlight the effectiveness of DDMRP implementation, not only in technical integration but also in tangible financial benefits, underscoring the relevance and potential of this methodology to optimize inventory management and improve operational efficiency in complex business environments.
