Resumen
La investigación presente tiene como fin la comparación de resistencia a la fatiga cíclica de las limas de endodoncia para los procedimientos mecánicos: Proflexi blue y Proflexi Chameleon por medio de un estudio in vitro midiendo el tiempo y la cantidad de ciclos. Para ello se han hecho uso de los siguientes materiales y método, para esto el estudio fue experimental, contando con 2 conjuntos de 20 limas (25/06) para cada sistema y donde los dos se trabajaron a 300 rpm y 2.5 N/cm, en una simulación de canal con material acero inoxidable y, con un ángulo de curvatura de 60° y un radio de 8mm. Es así como se encontraron los siguientes resultados, donde el tiempo en segundos hasta la fractura de los instrumentos de estos sistemas fueron de 552.7 seg. para las limas Proflexi blue y de 324.95 seg. para las limas Proflexi Chameleon. Concluyéndose que, existió diferencia significativa en el comparativo de la resistencia a la fatiga cíclica en ambos sistemas estudiados, pero, fue más favorecido el sistema Proflexi Blue.
The present investigation aims to compare the cyclic fatigue resistance of endodontic files for mechanical procedures: Proflexi blue and Proflexi Chameleon through an in vitro study measuring the time and number of cycles. For this purpose, the following materials and methods have been used; for this, the study was experimental, with 2 sets of 20 files (25/06) for each system and where both were worked at 300 rpm and 2.5 N/cm, in a channel simulation with stainless steel material and with a curvature angle of 60° and a radius of 8mm.
