Resumen
La preeclampsia es una enfermedad progresiva e irreversible que se da durante el embarazo, parto y puerperio, es la segunda causa de muerte materna, representa el 15,8% seguido de la hemorragia obstétrica. Se considera un problema de salud pública ya que puede llevar a complicaciones si no se diagnostica a tiempo. En el departamento de Lambayeque, la tasa de mortalidad materna en el periodo 2008-2021 fue de 4 por mil mujeres y se relaciona con el mayor índice de pobreza, siendo José Leonardo Ortiz uno de los principales distritos con mayor porcentaje. Objetivo: Determinar el nivel de conocimientos y actitudes sobre preeclampsia en gestantes del Centro de Salud Atusparias del distrito José Leonardo Ortiz, enero-junio 2023. Material y métodos: Estudio descriptivo, transversal, prospectivo y correlacional. El tipo de muestreo es probabilístico, sistemático. Como instrumento se utilizará un cuestionario que mide el nivel de conocimientos y actitudes sobre preeclampsia en gestantes. Los datos obtenidos se registran en Microsoft Excel 2016. Resultados: Los resultados demostraron que el 64,1% de las gestantes del Centro de Salud Atusparias presentó un nivel medio de conocimientos sobre preeclampsia, mientras el 11,4% un nivel alto. El 46,5% de las gestantes demostraron que tienen una actitud desfavorable frente a la preeclampsia y el 19% una actitud favorable. Conclusión: La mayoría de las gestantes encuestadas en el Centro de Salud Atusparias presentan un nivel de conocimiento medio y una actitud desfavorable. Se postula la necesidad de mejorar estos aspectos, para reducir las complicaciones materno-fetales.
Preeclampsia is a progressive and irreversible disease that occurs during pregnancy, childbirth and puerperium; it is the second leading cause of maternal death, representing 15,8% followed by obstetric hemorrhage. It is considered a public health problem because it leads to complications if not diagnosed in time. In the department of Lambayeque, the maternal mortality rate in the period 2008-2021 was 4 per thousand women and is related to the highest poverty index, with José Leonardo Ortiz being one of the main districts with the highest percentage. Objective: To determine the level of knowledge and attitudes about preeclampsia in pregnant women at the Atusparias Health Center of the José Leonardo Ortiz district, January-June 2023. Material and methods: Descriptive, cross-sectional, prospective and correlational study. The type of sampling is probabilistic, systematic. A questionnaire measuring the level of knowledge and attitudes about preeclampsia in pregnant women will be used as an instrument. The data obtained will be recorded in Microsoft Excel 2016. Results: The results showed that 64,1% of the pregnant women of the Atusparias Health Center had a medium level of knowledge about pre-eclampsia, while 11,4% had a high level. The 46,5% of the pregnant women showed that they had an unfavorable attitude towards pre-eclampsia and 19% had a favorable attitude. Conclusion: Most of the pregnant women interviewed at the Atusparias Health Center have a medium level of knowledge and an unfavorable attitude. The need to improve these aspects in order to reduce maternal-fetal complications is postulated.
