Resumen
Objetivo: Determinar los factores sociodemográficos y clínicos asociados a la presencia de ansiedad por salud en pacientes atendidos en el Centro de Salud Pedro Pablo Atusparias de José Leonardo Ortiz, durante el período enero–marzo 2024. Metodología: Estudio cuantitativo, observacional, analítico, de tipo transversal. La población fueron 350 pacientes ambulatorios atendidos en el Centro De Salud Pedro Pablo Atusparias en el período enero a marzo del año 2024. Para evaluar la ansiedad por salud (AS) se utilizó el Inventario corto de ansiedad por salud y para determinar las características clínicas y sociodemográficas se empleó una ficha de recolección de datos. Resultados: 15.47% de participantes obtuvieron un resultado positivo para AS. Los factores clínicos significativamente asociados a la AS incluyeron la presencia de enfermedad crónica (OR = 4.77, IC 95%: 2.22–10.29) y el número de atenciones a instituciones de salud (OR = 2.63, IC 95%: 1.08–6.41). Además, el historial de hospitalización también mostró una relación significativa (OR = 2.85, IC 95%: 1.20–6.79). Conclusiones: Se determinaron como factores asociados a ansiedad por salud, a la presencia de enfermedad crónica y el número de atenciones e historia de hospitalización. Asimismo, no se halló asociación de características sociodemográficas de la población seleccionada.

The Short Health Anxiety Inventory was used to assess health anxiety (HA), and a data collection form was used to determine clinical and sociodemographic characteristics. Results: 15.47% of participants tested positive for HA. Clinical factors significantly associated with AS included the presence of chronic disease (OR = 4.77, 95% CI: 2.22–10.29) and the number of visits to health institutions (OR = 2.63, 95% CI: 1.08–6.41). In addition, hospitalization history also showed a meaningful relationship (OR = 2.85, 95% CI: 1.20–6.79). Conclusions: The presence of chronic disease and the number of visits and hospitalization history were determined as factors associated with health anxiety. Furthermore, no association was found between sociodemographic characteristics of the selected population.
