Comparación de estabilidad dimensional de tres marcas de silicona de registro en diferentes intervalos de tiempo

Abstract

El objetivo de este estudio fue comparar la estabilidad dimensional de tres marcas de silicona de registro: Occlufast rock, Futar D y Oklurest en diferentes intervalos de tiempo, a las 0 h, 48 h y 7 días de su manipulación. Fue un estudio experimental in vitro. Se realizó 90 muestras, 30 muestras de cada marca, usando un dispositivo de acero inoxidable según las especificaciones de la ADA N° 19. Cada muestra fue medida a las 0, 48h y 7 días usando un vernier digital (Mitutoyo) y un microscopio óptico digital (YPC-X02). Se realizó un análisis descriptivo utilizando media, mediana, desviación estándar. Se utilizó el análisis Kruskall wallis y U de Mann Whiteney para comparar muestras independientes y el análisis de Friedman y Anova para analizar cada material en el tiempo. Se obtuvieron como resultados que existe diferencia significativa entre cada silicona de registro a través del tiempo. Se concluyó que el material que presenta mejor estabilidad dimensional es Occlufast rock, seguido por Futar D y por último Oklurest siendo esta la silicona que más varía dimensionalmente.The aim of this study is to compare the dimensional stability of three brands of intermaxillary recording silicones: Occlufast rock, Futar D, Oklurest at different time intervals: 0h, 48h and 7 days of its manipulation. It was an in vitro experimental study. 90 samples were made, 30 samples of each brand, using a stainless Steel device according to ADA N° 19 specifications. Each sample was measerud at 0h, 48h and 7 days using a digital vernier (Mitutoyo) and an optical digital microscope (YPC-X02). A descriptive análisis was performed using means, medians, and standard deviation. Kruskall Wallis and U de Mann Whitney análisis were used to compare independent simples and Friedman and Anova análisis to analyze each material over the time. It was concluded that the material that presents the best dimensioanl stability is Occlufast rock, followed by Futar D and finally Oklurest, this being the silicone that varies the most dimensionally.
