The objective of the research is to describe and analyze the motivations of nurses for their work performance in the First Level of Care during COVID-19. Lambayeque Network 2022. The proposed method for the study is qualitative-descriptive-exploratory. The population is made up of 167 nurses from the Lambayeque Network. The selection of participants will be made for convenience, with non-probabilistic sample, determined by saturation and redundancy of the speeches. The information collection technique will be the semi-structured interview with open questions in depth, validated by expert judgment and recorded in a voice recorder. The data will be processed by means of thematic content analysis. The scientific quality and ethical rigor of the research will be guaranteed. During the pandemic, the working conditions of nurses of first level of care have not been encouraging considering that there is evidence that shows that these were exacerbated, diminishing the guarantees of their working conditions and patient safety. In this sense, it can be said that nursing never experienced a series of adverse factors in their demotivating working conditions, which generates the need for improvements in the nursing workplace, which is closely linked to the motivation for their work performance.
