Violencia contra la mujer y autoestima en mujeres del Centro de Emergencia Mujer, Chiclayo 2022

Abstract

La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación entre violencia contra la mujer y autoestima en mujeres del Centro de Emergencia Mujer. El tipo de diseño es no experimental, de enfoque cuantitativo y de tipo correlacional. La muestra está conformada por mujeres víctimas de violencia familiar y sexual. Los instrumentos empleados fueron el Inventario de Autoestima de Stanley Coopersmith (SEI) – Versión Adultos y Escala de violencia de género contra la mujer en relación amorosa, ambos adaptados al contexto peruano. Tras la aplicación de los instrumentos se obtuvo como resultado una correlación positiva moderada y altamente significativa entre violencia contra la mujer y autoestima en mujeres del CEM.

The purpose of this research was to determine the relationship between violence against women and self-esteem among women at the Women's Emergency Center. The research design used was non-experimental, with a quantitative and correlational approach. The sample consisted of women who were victims of domestic and sexual violence. The instruments used were the Stanley Coopersmith Self-Esteem Inventory (SEI) - Adult Version, and the Scale of Gender Violence Against Women in Romantic elationships, both adapted to the Peruvian context.
