Resumen
Este estudio se basa en analizar el potencial de transformación del sector 18 de Chiclayo, a través de la posible implementación de tecnologías sostenibles, abordando los desafíos generados por el aumento en la intensidad climática según la radiación solar y fuertes vientos. Para lograr dicho objetivo se propone mejorar las viviendas locales mediante una adaptación de tecnología en sus elementos arquitectónicos, a partir de su materialidad en fachadas y cubiertas. La metodología incluyó tanto un análisis climático del sector como la observación directa de los materiales de construcción y su desgaste por exposición a condiciones adversas. Además, se analizaron tecnologías sostenibles utilizadas a nivel global, que vayan de acuerdo a las condiciones del sector, como células solares y motores eólicos. Este análisis permitirá entender que la aplicación de estos dispositivos en elementos exteriores de viviendas podría favorecer la adaptación al clima cambiante y mejorar la eficiencia energética. Este enfoque arquitectónico plantea una alternativa que busca transformas las edificaciones y aprovechar el cambio climático como un recurso, impulsando una arquitectura sostenible que junte lo natural con lo artificial. Además, de contribuir positivamente al entorno social y urbano, fomentando una arquitectura alineada con la sostenibilidad y la eficiencia energética.
This study analyzes the transformative potential of Sector 18 in Chiclayo through the implementation of sustainable technologies, addressing the challenges posed by increased climate intensity due to solar radiation and strong winds. To achieve this objective, the study proposes improving local housing by adapting technology to its architectural elements, focusing on the materials used in facades and roofs. The methodology included both a climate analysis of the sector and direct observation of construction materials and their deterioration due to exposure to adverse conditions. Furthermore, globally used sustainable technologies, such as solar cells and wind turbines, were analyzed to determine their suitability for the sector's conditions. This analysis will demonstrate that applying these devices to exterior elements of homes could facilitate adaptation to the changing climate and improve energy efficiency. This architectural approach offers an alternative that seeks to transform buildings and harness climate change as a resource, promoting sustainable architecture that integrates the natural with the artificial. It also aims to contribute positively to the social and urban environment by fostering architecture aligned with sustainability and energy efficiency.
