Resumen
El presente estudio aborda la relación entre liderazgo transformacional, motivación y compromiso organizacional en el personal administrativo de una empresa retail de Chiclayo en 2025. El objetivo fue determinar la influencia del liderazgo transformacional en la motivación y el compromiso de estos administrativos de la empresa retail de Chiclayo, 2025. Se empleó un enfoque cuantitativo, de nivel básico, con diseño no experimental, transversal y correlacional–explicativo. La población estuvo conformada por 356 colaboradores administrativos y la muestra por 100 trabajadores seleccionados por conveniencia; se aplicaron encuestas en línea mediante los instrumentos MLQ-5X, MWMS y la escala de compromiso de Meyer y Allen. Los resultados de la investigación mostraron que el liderazgo transformacional no ejerce una influencia significativa sobre la motivación ni sobre el compromiso organizacional (p > 0.05), aunque sí se encontró una relación positiva baja y significativa con el compromiso afectivo. Se concluye que, en la empresa de estudio, el liderazgo transformacional no tiene impactos significativo ni en la motivación ni en el compromiso del personal administrativo y se trata de variables que no muestran dependencia entre sí.
This study examines the relationship between transformational leadership, motivation, and organizational commitment among the administrative staff of a retail company in Chiclayo in 2025. The objective was to determine the influence of transformational leadership on the motivation and commitment of these administrative employees at the Chiclayo retail company in 2025. A quantitative, basic-level approach was used, with a non-experimental, crosssectional, and correlational-explanatory design. The population consisted of 356 administrative employees, and the sample comprised 100 workers selected by convenience sampling. Online surveys were administered using the MLQ-5X, MWMS, and Meyer and Allen's Commitment Scale. The research results showed that transformational leadership does not exert a significant influence on motivation or organizational commitment (p > 0.05), although a weak but significant positive relationship was found with affective commitment. It is concluded that, in the company under study, transformational leadership has no significant impact on either the motivation or the commitment of the administrative staff and these are independent variables.
