This research focuses on the pre-feasibility study of a sustainable pallet factory using PET waste and sawdust for the domestic market. This is due to the poor final disposal of solid waste, primarily polyethylene terephthalate. Furthermore, the large amount of sawdust generated in sawmills in Lambayeque has a social and environmental impact. A commercial study was conducted to determine the unmet demand for 68 989 units for year 5, of which 25% will be covered. A project demand of 17 247 pallets was obtained. A technical-technological study was also conducted, which indicates a capacity of 7 pallets/h. The weighted factor matrix method was also used to determine the location of the plant, selecting the José Leonardo Ortiz district. The required area was then determined using the Guerchet method, which was 618,88 m2. Likewise, the project is not only commercially and technically viable but also profitable, as it obtained a Net Present Value (NPV) of S/382 118,02 and an Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 46,59%, which guarantees its economic viability.
