It is acknowledged through this presentation that Chongoyape is a place of fertile land with astrong productive identity, structured and bounded by various natural protective elements. It is traversed by diverse landscape systems that divide the territory into different landscape units characterized by activities and natural components that interrelate with one another, while also providing a significant contribution to its autonomy. The introversion of the built area in relation to its context and the activities of commercial, recreational, and interactive interest generates monotony and disconnection for the city, further leading to the degradation of potent spaces, mostly peripheral, that could foster the city-landscape relationship. This presentation is thus motivated by the desire to identify these operational landscapes that have ceased to be decontextualized spaces and have transformed into spaces for the use, function, and architecture required according to the identified activities and the surrounding natural elements. Through them, it seeks to manage the territory optimally, prioritizing the urban-landscape relationship.
