Resumen
La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo analizar cómo las estrategias de marketing sostenible contribuyen al desarrollo turístico en el Santuario Histórico Bosque de Pómac, ubicado en el distrito de Pítipo, provincia de Ferreñafe, región Lambayeque (Perú), promoviendo la conciencia ambiental, la participación comunitaria y la conservación del entorno. La investigación surgió ante la limitada aplicación de prácticas sostenibles en el santuario, lo que afecta el potencial turístico y el compromiso de la población local en acciones de conservación. El estudio se desarrolló bajo un enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo aplicada, descriptivo y de corte transversal, utilizando un diseño no experimental. La técnica de recolección de datos fue la encuesta estructurada aplicada a una muestra de 372 visitantes, determinada mediante la fórmula para poblaciones finitas, considerando como población los 12 055 visitantes registrados entre los meses de enero a diciembre del 2024, según la base de datos del Reporte Regional de Turismo Lambayeque del MINCETUR, con un nivel de confianza del 95% y un margen de error del 5%. (Mincetur, 2024). Los resultados evidenciaron que el marketing sostenible influye de manera positiva en el desarrollo turístico del Santuario Histórico Bosque de Pómac, fortaleciendo el sentido de responsabilidad ambiental, promoviendo la participación de la comunidad e incentivando un turismo responsable. Se concluye que la aplicación de estrategias sostenibles genera beneficios económicos y sociales, sin comprometer los recursos naturales y culturales para las futuras investigaciones.
This research aimed to analyze how sustainable marketing strategies contribute to tourism development in the Pómac Forest Historical Sanctuary, located in the district of Pítipo, province of Ferreñafe, Lambayeque region (Peru), promoting environmental awareness, community participation, and environmental conservation. The research arose from the limited application of sustainable practices in the sanctuary, which affects its tourism potential and the commitment of the local population to conservation efforts. The study was conducted using a quantitative, applied, descriptive, and cross-sectional approach, employing a non-experimental design. Data was collected through a structured survey administered to a sample of 372 visitors. This sample size was determined using the formula for finite populations, considering the population as the 12,055 visitors registered between January and December 2024, according to the Lambayeque Regional Tourism Report database of MINCETUR, with a 95% confidence level and a 5% margin of error. (Mincuetur, 2024). The results showed that sustainable marketing positively influences tourism development in the Pómac Forest Historical Sanctuary, strengthening environmental responsibility, promoting community participation, and encouraging responsible tourism. It is concluded that the application of sustainable strategies generates economic and social benefits without compromising natural and cultural resources for future research.
