La representación del tratamiento de hemodiálisis por personas adultas mayores hemodializadas en la región Lambayeque 2020

Abstract

Introducción: La enfermedad renal terminal aumenta con la edad y afecta a más del 10% de la población. El ingreso de un paciente en un programa de hemodiálisis ofrece la oportunidad de prolongar su vida, pero interfiere en las actividades diarias y, por lo tanto, afecta su calidad de vida, sabiendo que la representación que la persona tiene sobre su tratamiento es incurable para el cumplimiento y la adaptación del mismo. Objetivo: Caracterizar, analizar y discutir la representación social del tratamiento de hemodiálisis por personas adultas mayores hemodializadas en la región Lambayeque, 2022. Método: Estudio cualitativo, con metodología en la Representación Social. La muestra son 32 adultos mayores que reciben hemodiálisis en la Clínica Nefrocare SAC. Los instrumentos aplicados: cuestionario Socio Cultural y la entrevista semiestructurada a profundidad, procesados en el software ALCESTE (2012). Resultados: Fueron seis las variables trabajadas: edad, sexo, ocupación, procedencia, grado de instrucción y tiempo de tratamiento. La estructura jerárquica de las clases se dividió en dos grandes ramificaciones (I y II). En la ramificación I se encuentra la clase 1 y en la ramificación II la clase 2, 3 y 4. Conclusiones: El estudio ancoro la representación social de la hemodiálisis en dos perspectivas influenciadas por el contexto social y cultural, primero una imagen de la hemodiálisis como enfermedad, desde la perspectiva biológica, física y segundo una imagen personal, familiar y contexto inmediato.

Introduction: End-stage renal disease increases with age and affects more than 10% of the population. Method: Qualitative study, with methodology in Social Representation. The simple is 32 older adults receiving hemodialysis at the Nefrocare SAC Clinic. The applied instruments: Socio Cultural questionnaire and the semi-structured interview in depth, processed in depth, processed in the ALCESTE software (2012). Results: There were six variables worked on: age, sex, occupation, origin, educational level and treatment time. The hierarchical structure of the clases was divided into two major ramifications (I and II). In branch I you will find class 1 and in branch II class 2, 3 and 4. Conclusions: The study anchored the social representation of hemodialysis in two perspectives influenced by the social anda cultural context, first an image of hemodialysis as a disease, from the biological, physical perspective and second a personal, family and inmediate context image.
