This thesis addresses the relationship between job satisfaction and organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) in a restaurant chain in Lambayeque. The main objective is to determine how job satisfaction is related to employees' CCO. A quantitative methodology was used, with a representative sample of workers to whom structured surveys were applied to collect their data. The results reveal a moderate positive correlation between job satisfaction and BCC, where employees who feel satisfied with their work tend to exhibit prosocial and supportive behaviors towards their co-workers. Despite this, several areas for improvement were shown, such as lack of camaraderie and insufficient support from superiors. The conclusions highlight the importance of promoting a positive work environment and implementing strategies to strengthen the organizational culture, in order to improve employee satisfaction and increase their commitment and motivation to contribute beyond their basic responsibilities.
