Resumen
La presente investigación presentó como propósito principal determinar la relación entre el liderazgo y el compromiso organizacional en una compañía familiar ligada al rubro textil ubicada en la ciudad de Chiclayo. Para ello se adoptó un enfoque cuantitativo, de alcance correlacional y diseño no experimental. El grupo muestral se conformó mediante un muestreo censal y tuvo un total de 90 colaboradores de la entidad mencionada, a quienes se les aplicó dos cuestionarios que obtuvieron validez y confiabilidad a través de los procesos adecuados. Entre los principales hallazgos se obtuvo la determinación de la existencia de vínculos entre el liderazgo y las dimensiones de liderazgo transformacional (rho=0,752; p=0,000), transaccional (rho=0,713; p=0,000) y Laissez Faire (rho=0,645; p=0,000); además, se observó mayoritariamente una percepción de nivel bajo para el liderazgo (51.10%) y el compromiso organizacional (64.44%) en la compañía. Se concluyó la existencia de un fuerte vínculo entre el liderazgo y el compromiso organizacional (rho=0,768; p=0,000).
The primary objective of this research was to determine the relationship between leadership and organizational commitment in a family-owned company within the textile industry, ocated in the city of Chiclayo. A quantitative approach was adopted, with a correlational scope and a non-experimental design. The sample group was formed through a census sampling method, comprising a total of 90 employees from the aforementioned organization. Two questionnaires—validated and verified for reliability through appropriate procedures—were administered. Among the main findings was the identification of significant relationships between leadership and the dimensions of transformational leadership (rho=0.752; p=0.000), transactional leadership (rho=0.713; p=0.000), and laissez-faire leadership (rho=0.645; p=0.000). Additionally, a predominantly low perception of both leadership (51.10%) and organizational commitment (64.44%) was observed within the company. The study concluded that there is a strong relationship between leadership and organizational commitment (rho=0.768; p=0.000).
