Método 5S para la gestión y control de inventarios y su incidencia en la rentabilidad de “INVERSIONES FERRETERAS EIRL” Chiclayo - 2023

Abstract

Esta investigación tiene como principal objetivo aplicar el método 5S para la gestión y control de inventarios y su incidencia en la rentabilidad de la empresa INVERSIONES FERRETERAS de la ciudad de Chiclayo. Se aplicó un enfoque cualitativo con un diseño no experimental, tomando como muestra el área de almacén de la empresa. La técnica que se empleo fue una entrevista de 26 preguntas para el dueño y/o gerente general, así como al jefe de área de almacén relacionado con los aspectos generales de la empresa, el proceso de compra y venta para poder identificar sus deficiencias, causas y efectos, además, se pudo conocer la rentabilidad actual de la empresa y sus costos. El diagnóstico inicial permitió analizar la rentabilidad de la empresa Inversiones Ferreteras E.I.R.L. basándose en los ratios ROA y ROE, para poder ser comparada con la nueva rentabilidad aplicando el método 5S. Se concluyó que la empresa tiene una rentabilidad adecuada, por lo que solo sería necesario aplicar el método de las 5S para solucionar las deficiencias identificadas y optimizar aún más la gestión del almacén.

The main objective of this research is to apply the 5S method for inventory management and control and its impact on the profitability of the company INVERSIONES FERRETERAS in the city of Chiclayo. A qualitative approach was applied with a non-experimental design, taking as a sample the warehouse area of the company. The technique used was an interview of 26 questions for the owner and/or general manager, as well as the head of the warehouse area related to the general aspects of the company, the purchase and sale process in order to identify its deficiencies, causes and effects, in addition, it was possible to know the current profitability of the company and its costs. The initial diagnosis allowed to analyze the profitability of the company INVERSIONES FERRETERAS EIRL based on the ROA and ROE ratios, to be compared with the new profitability by applying the 5S method. It was concluded that the company has an adequate profitability, so it would only be necessary to apply the 5S method to solve the identified deficiencies and further optimize the management of the warehouse.
