Resumen
El presente trabajo de investigación estuvo orientado a conocer el nivel de la formación sobre maternidad en estudiantes universitarios de una universidad privada del departamento de Lambayeque. El tipo de estudio fue básico descriptivo. Los sujetos de estudio que conformaron la muestra fueron 45 estudiantes que cursaban los dos primeros semestres, de una población de 250. La muestra fue no probabilística e intencional. El cuestionario de mostró ser válido y confiable (V de Aiken de 0,863 y Alfa de Cronbach de 0,756) garantizando su aplicabilidad. Los resultados obtenidos demostraron que un alto porcentaje de estudiantes, tienen un nivel de formación sobre maternidad que requiere reforzarse, desarrollarse o formarse. Puesto que, un 15% considera que la vida no inicia con la concepción. Un 27%, que el concebido es parte del cuerpo de la madre. Un 76% no considera necesario casarse para ser madre. De forma complementaria, un 91% coincide en la necesidad de formarse sobre conceptos de maternidad. De este modo, se demuestra que es necesario atender la necesidad de formación sobre maternidad en estudiantes universitarios e incluso proponer estrategias de formación dirigidos a toda la comunidad. Esto, en estricta atención a la importancia de contar con ciudadanos capaces de comprender y actuar en aspectos relacionados de la maternidad desde un marco bioético personalista, lo que nos ayudará a construir una sociedad que proteja la vida desde su concepción hasta su fin natural.
The present research work was aimed at knowing the level of motherhood training in university students of a private university in the department of Lambayeque. The type of study was basic descriptive. The study subjects who made up the sample were 45 students who were studying the first two semesters, out of a population of 250. The sample was non-probabilistic and intentional. The questionnaire was shown to be valid and reliable (Aiken's V of 0.863 and Cronbach's Alpha of 0.756), guaranteeing its applicability. The results obtained showed that a high percentage of students have a level of training on motherhood that requires reinforcement, development or training. Since, 15% consider that life does not begin with conception. 27%, that the conceived child is part of the mother's body. 76% do not consider it necessary to get married to be a mother. In addition, 91% agree on the need to train on motherhood concepts. In this way, it is demonstrated that it is necessary to address the need for training on motherhood in university students and even propose training strategies aimed at the entire community. This, in strict attention to the importance of having citizens capable of understanding and acting on related aspects of motherhood from a personalist bioethical framework, which will help us build a society that protects life from its conception to its natural end.
