Resumen
Esta investigación tuvo como propósito determinar la relación entre el equilibrio de vida personal y laboral con el compromiso organizacional en el trabajo remoto de una universidad privada, en Chiclayo 2022, en una población de 104 colaboradores administrativos. Fue de tipo básica que utilizó un enfoque cuantitativo, correlacional y no experimental. Se utilizó como herramienta de medición el Cuestionario de Rathnaweera y Jayathilaka y la Escala de Compromiso Organizacional de Meyer y Allen. Se analizó el nivel de equilibrio de vida personal y laboral, siendo el nivel muy bajo el que predominó, de igual manera con el
compromiso organizacional, se halló un nivel muy bajo de compromiso afectivo, nivel alto de compromiso normativo y muy bajo de compromiso de continuidad. Siendo la variable equilibrio de vida personal y laboral unidimensional se estableció su relación con las dimensiones del compromiso organizacional y se observó una débil correlación negativa con las dimensiones afectiva (-0.320) y normativa (-0.219) siendo los resultados significativos; en cuanto a la dimensión continuidad se observó una correlación positiva no significativa. Al realizar el análisis de los resultados entre las variables de estudio, se observó la existencia de una correlación negativa débil (-0.152) entre equilibrio de vida personal y laboral con el compromiso organizacional. Por lo que la hipótesis inicial fue rechazada ya que no se encontró suficiente evidencia para afirmar que el equilibrio de vida personal y laboral, se asocia significativamente con el compromiso organizacional en el trabajo remoto de una universidad privada, en Chiclayo.
The purpose of this research was to determine the relationship between the balance of personal and work life with organizational commitment in remote work at a private university, in Chiclayo 2022, in a population of 104 administrative employees. It was a basic type that used a quantitative, correlational and non-experimental approach. The Rathnaweera and Jayathilaka Questionnaire and the Meyer and Allen Organizational Commitment Scale were used as measurement tools. The level of balance of personal and work life was analyzed, with the very low level being the one that predominated, in the same way with organizational commitment, a very low level of affective commitment was found, a high level of normative commitment and a very low level of commitment of continuity. Since the personal and work life balance variable is unidimensional, its relationship with the dimensions of organizational commitment was established and a weak negative correlation was observed with the affective (-0.320) and normative (-0.219) dimensions, the results being significant; Regarding the continuity dimension, a non-significant positive correlation was observed. When analyzing the results between the study variables, the existence of a weak negative correlation (-0.152) was observed between personal and work life balance and organizational commitment. Therefore, the initial hypothesis was rejected since not enough evidence was found to affirm that work-life balance is significantly associated with organizational commitment in remote work at a private university in Chiclayo.
