Influencia del crecimiento económico sobre las reservas internacionales netas en el Perú entre los años 2001-2021

Abstract

El estudio y análisis de las Reservas Internacionales Netas de un país es crucial para entender las bases que cimentan la estabilidad macroeconómica en los países, de esta manera, el presente estudio tiene como objetivo general determinar la influencia que ejerce el crecimiento económico en el Perú sobre la evolución de las Reservas Internacionales Netas del país durante el periodo de estudio (2001 al 2021), cuya relación se sustenta teóricamente a través de los saldos en la Balanza de Pagos. Para lo cual se realizó un análisis cuantitativo, no experimental, descriptivo-longitudinal y explicativa, en el cual se obtuvo la información relevante mediante la aplicación de una Revisión Documental, con su instrumento, la Guía de Revisión Documental, los datos fueron conseguidos de las series estadísticas brindadas por el Banco Central de Reserva del Perú, y luego organizados, tabulados y analizados empleando el Software Microsoft Excel, además del Software Stata 2016 para su análisis econométrico. Se empleó el método de Mínimos Cuadrados Ordinarios para determinar los parámetros de estudio en este periodo. Como resultado se tuvo que el crecimiento económico en aumento influye teniendo la misma causal en las reservas internacionales netas entre los años 2001 – 2021.The study and analysis of a country's Net International Reserves is crucial to understand the foundations that lay the foundations for macroeconomic stability in countries. Thus, the general objective of this study is to determine the influence of economic growth in Peru on the evolution of the country's Net International Reserves during the study period (2001 to 2021), whose relationship is theoretically supported by the balances in the Balance of Payments. For which a quantitative, non-experimental, descriptive-longitudinal and explanatory analysis was carried out, in which the relevant information was obtained through the application of a Documentary Review, with its instrument, the Documentary Review Guide, the data were obtained from the statistical series provided by the Central Reserve Bank of Peru, and then organized, tabulated and analyzed using the Microsoft Excel Software, in addition to the Stata 2016 Software for its econometric analysis. The Ordinary Least Squares method was used to determine the study parameters for this period. As a result, it was found that the increasing economic growth has the same causal influence on the net international reserves between 2001 - 2021.
