Resumen
En las últimas décadas la interacción de Jaén con otras ciudades ha impulsado su crecimiento, desarrollo y progreso, sin embargo, este avance no ha sido del todo positivo ya que ha evidenciado la deficiente planificación urbana, siendo uno de los principales problemas la mala ubicación de los terminales terrestres, al quedar inmersos en el casco urbano, provocando perdida de accesibilidad, funcionalidad y un progresivo deterioro de sus infraestructuras, ante esta situación, el objetivo principal de esta investigación es establecer estrategias arquitectónicas para un terminal terrestre interprovincial que contribuyan a mejorar el servicio de transporte terrestre en la ciudad de Jaén. Para ello, se definieron tres objetivos específicos, primero diagnosticar el estado actual de las infraestructuras en los terminales terrestres interprovinciales existentes en la ciudad de Jaén, segundo evaluar estrategias arquitectónicas para el nuevo terminal terrestre interprovincial en la ciudad de Jaén y finalmente elaborar estrategias proyectuales para el nuevo terminal terrestre interprovincial en la ciudad de Jaén. La metodología empleada se desarrolló en tres, en la primera, se utilizaron fichas de análisis para recopilar información que sustente la realidad problemática y determine la condición en que se encuentran los terminales, segundo se analizaron referentes para reconocer y obtener estrategias tomadas ante problemas similares, tercero se analizó a los usuario y trabajadores a través de encuestas y entrevistas para elaborar estrategias proyectuales acorde a las necesidades de los usuarios. Como resultado se concentró todos los terminales en una nueva ubicación, aplicando estrategias arquitectónicas que optimicen su diseño y funcionalidad.
In recent decades, Jaén's interaction with other cities has driven its growth, development, and progress. However, this advancement has not been entirely positive, as it has highlighted deficiencies in urban planning. One of the main issues is the poor location of bus terminals, which are situated within the urban core. This has led to a loss of accessibility and functionality, along with the progressive deterioration of infrastructure. In response to this situation, the main objective of this research is to establish architectural strategies for a new interprovincial bus terminal that will help improve land transportation services in the city of Jaén. To achieve this, three specific objectives were defined. First, to assess the current state of infrastructure in the existing interprovincial bus terminals in Jaén. Second, to evaluate architectural strategies for the new interprovincial terminal in the city. And third, to develop design strategies for the new interprovincial terminal. The methodology was structured in three phases. In the first, analysis forms were used to gather information that supports the identification of the problem and determines the current condition of the terminals. In the second, case studies were analyzed to identify and extract strategies used to address similar issues. In the third phase, surveys and interviews were conducted with users and workers to develop design strategies that meet their needs. As a result, all terminals were consolidated into a new location, applying architectural strategies aimed at optimizing their design and functionality
