Control de inventarios en una microempresa comercial de ropa interior, Chiclayo, 2023

Abstract

El presente trabajo consistió en analizar el control de inventarios de una microempresa dedicada a la venta de ropa interior de la ciudad de Chiclayo en el año 2023. Para lograr este análisis se establecieron objetivos específicos que incluyeron determinar los costos logísticos desde los más notables hasta los menos, desarrollar clasificación del método ABC basado en la teoría de Pareto y determinar la cantidad económica de pedido por prenda basado en el Modelo Wilson. En términos metodológicos se optó por el enfoque cualitativo, de tipo aplicado, siendo un estudio de caso de corte transversal. La unidad de análisis fue el inventario de la empresa comercializadora de ropa interior, constando de 576 artículos desglosados en 35.000 ítems o sub-productos. El método ABC permitió identificar que productos deben ser atendidos con prioridad, a qué productos se deben destinar recursos de forma estratégica y qué productos eliminar debido a su nula rotación y baja rentabilidad; por último, el modelo Wilson permitió reconocer punto máximo y mínimo, también el tiempo de pedido entre recompra. Con ello se logró identificar un sobrecosto logístico de aproximadamente s/. 122.000 soles, al contrastar los costos totales Q y EOQ.

The present work consisted of analyzing the inventory control of a microenterprise dedicated to the sale of underwear in the city of Chiclayo in the year 2023. To achieve this analysis, specific objectives were established which included determining the logistic costs from the most notable to the least, developing the ABC method classification based on the Pareto theory and determining the economic order quantity per garment based on the Wilson Model. In methodological terms, a qualitative approach was chosen, of the applied type, being a cross sectional case study. The unit of analysis was the inventory of the underwear marketing company, consisting of 576 items broken down into 35,000 items or sub-products. The ABC method made it possible to identify which products should be given priority, to which products resources should be strategically allocated and which products should be eliminated due to their low turnover and low profitability; finally, the Wilson model made it possible to recognize the maximum and minimum points, as well as the order time between repurchases. Finally, the Wilson model made it possible to identify a logistics cost overrun of approximately S/. 122,000 by comparing the total costs Q and EOQ.
