Resumen
El involucramiento laboral y el compromiso profesional contribuyen al éxito de la empresa, por ello en este estudio se ha considerado el siguiente objetivo general: Determinar la relación entre involucramiento laboral y compromiso profesional de los colaboradores de la generación Y de la municipalidad de Cutervo, 2020. En cuanto a la metodología tuvo un enfoque cuantitativo, nivel explicativo y diseño no experimental. Por otro lado, la población estuvo conformada por 170 trabajadores y se utilizó como instrumento el cuestionario a través de la técnica de la encuesta. Cabe mencionar que el cuestionario de involucramiento laboral fue creado por Abu (2016) basado en Yoshimura (1996), y el cuestionario de compromiso profesional fue creado por Meyer et al. (1993); ambos cuestionarios se calificaron escala Likert de 1 a 7 donde 1 completamente en desacuerdo y 7 es completamente de acuerdo. En los resultados se evidenció que el involucramiento laboral está positivamente relacionado con mayores niveles de compromiso, de esta manera se aceptó la hipótesis planteada inicialmente, por ello la empresa debe crear estrategias para lograr una fuerza laboral más involucrada con la empresa y comprometida con su profesión.
Job involvement and professional commitment contribute to the success of the company, therefore in this study the following general objective has been considered: To determine the relationship between labor involvement and professional commitment of the employees of generation Y of the municipality of Cutervo, 2020. Regarding the methodology, it had a quantitative approach, explanatory level and non-experimental design. On the other hand, the population consisted of 170 workers and the questionnaire was used as an instrument through the survey technique. It is worth mentioning that the labor engagement questionnaire was created by Abu (2016) based on Yoshimura (1996), and the professional engagement questionnaire was created by Meyer et al. (1993); Both questionnaires were scored on a Likert scale from 1 to 7, where 1 completely disagreed and 7 completely agreed. In the results it was evidenced that labor involvement is positively related to higher levels of commitment, in this way the hypothesis raised initially was accepted, therefore the company must create strategies to achieve a workforce more involved with the company and committed to their profession.
