Resumen
La falta de un clima ético adecuado en una institución pública obstaculiza la creación de relaciones positivas entre sus colaboradores, impidiendo que la consideración principal sea el bienestar colectivo de la institución. Esto, a su vez, limita la expectativa de un comportamiento correcto hacia el público, con repercusiones beneficiosas tanto para la institución como para la sociedad en general, que es la destinataria final de los servicios públicos proporcionados por dichos colaboradores. Por consiguiente, el propósito de esta investigación fue determinar el impacto de la percepción del clima ético organizacional en la confianza organizacional de los colaboradores de una municipalidad Chiclayana. Este estudio adopta un enfoque cuantitativo de carácter básico, con un diseño no experimental de naturaleza transversal y de nivel causal. Participaron en el estudio 163 colaboradores administrativos de la entidad pública. Se emplearon dos cuestionarios basados en la escala Likert, para llevar a cabo la evaluación de cada variable de forma individual. El resultado principal evidencio que el clima ético organizacional tiene impacto significativo sobre la confianza organizacional, dicho de otra manera, a medida que se incremente la calidad del clima ético en la organización, la confianza de los colaboradores hacia la misma también experimentará mejoras.
The lack of an adequate ethical climate in a public institution hinders the creation of positive relationships among its collaborators, preventing the collective well-being of the institution from being the main consideration. This, in turn, limits the expectation of correct behavior towards the public, with beneficial repercussions for both the institution and society in general, which is the final recipient of the public services provided by said collaborators. Therefore, the purpose of this research was to determine the impact of the perception of the organizational ethical climate on the organizational trust of the employees of a Chiclayana municipality. This study adopts a basic quantitative approach, with a non-experimental design of a cross-sectional nature and causal level. 163 administrative employees of the public entity participated in the study. Two questionnaires based on the Likert scale were used to carry out the evaluation of each variable individually. The main result showed that the organizational ethical climate has a significant impact on organizational trust; in other words, as the quality of the ethical climate in the organization increases, the trust of collaborators towards it will also experience improvements.
