Resumen
El turismo cultural ha permitido a los visitantes interactuar con la riqueza inmaterial de un destino y aprender sobre su historia y tradiciones Los museos, juegan un papel crucial en este tipo de turismo, al preservar y exponer el patrimonio cultural del país. Este estudio tiene como objetivo principal analizar el perfil sociodemográfico del turista nacional (Perú) y su relación con la experiencia, satisfacción e intención de comportamiento en el Museo Tumbas Reales de Sipán en el año 2024. La investigación emplea un enfoque cuantitativo y de tipo correlacional, con una muestra de 384 turistas nacionales mayores de 18 años. A través de encuestas, se recopilaron datos sobre características sociodemográficas y aspectos relacionados con la experiencia, satisfacción e intención de comportamiento de los visitantes. En cuanto los resultados se revelo que existe relación entre género y las variables experiencia, satisfacción e intención de comportamiento, destacando una relación significativa débil (correlación -0.35; 0.170; 0.216) y en el caso de edad y las variables experiencia, satisfacción e intención de comportamiento, destaca una correlación baja ( -0.287; -0.211; -0.167). No obstante, en el caso de nivel educativo e ingreso mensual no presentan una relación significativa con la experiencia, satisfacción e intención de comportamiento del turista. Estos hallazgos proporcionan información valiosa para los gestores del museo, permitiendo desarrollar estrategias más efectivas de promoción y adaptación de la oferta turística.
Cultural tourism has allowed visitors to interact with the intangible wealth of a destination and learn about its history and traditions. Museums play a crucial role in this type of tourism, by preserving and exhibiting the country's cultural heritage. This study aims to main objective: analyze the sociodemographic profile of the national tourist (Peru) and its relationship with the experience, satisfaction and behavioral intention in the Royal Tombs of Sipan Museum in the year 2024. The research uses a quantitative and correlational approach, with a sample of 384 national tourists over 18 years of age. Through surveys, data on sociodemographic characteristics and aspects related to the experience, satisfaction and behavioral intention of visitors were collected. As for the results, it was revealed that there is a relationship between gender and the variables experience, satisfaction and behavioral intention, highlighting a weak significant relationship (correlation -0.35; 0.170; 0.216) and in the case of age and the variables experience, satisfaction and behavioral intention, a low correlation stands out (-0.287; -0.211; -0.167). However, in this case, the educational level and monthly income do not present a significant relationship with the experience, satisfaction and behavioral intention of the tourist. These findings provide valuable information for museum managers, allowing them to develop more effective strategies for promoting and adapting the tourist offer
