The collection of information was done by conducting a survey of 256 farmers in the district in question. The study found that the main difficulties are the high interest rates, close to 50%, the distance of farmers from financial institutions, the complexity of the necessary procedures, the lack of documents, mainly property titles, that guarantee farmers' properties and the possibility of poor harvest results; Likewise, the study identified that certain characteristics of the farmer, such as a better educational level or having an additional job, not necessarily related to agriculture, increase the possibility of the farmer in question accessing agricultural credit.
