In the educational environment, dissocial behavior is a set of behaviors that generate concern, expressed through physical, verbal or psychological aggression towards peers, teachers or other members of the educational community. During adolescence, these behaviors may arise due to developmental changes and the influence of the social and family context. In this sense, the objective of this research was to determine the presence of dissocial behavior in adolescents in a public educational institution in José Leonardo Ortiz, Chiclayo 2024. The study had a quantitative approach with a non-experimental, descriptive, cross-sectional design. There were 146 adolescents of both sexes, aged between 13 and 17 years, who were in the second to fifth grade of secondary school in a national educational institution. Participants were selected by stratified probability sampling. For data collection, the 27-item Dissocial Behavior Scale (ECODI 27), adapted in Peru by Rosario et al. The results obtained revealed that most of the adolescents evaluated do not present dissocial behavior, suggesting a low presence of this problem in the population studied. However, a small percentage does show this type of behavior, being slightly stronger in males than in females and being more evident at seventeen years of age. It is concluded that most of the adolescents evaluated do not present behavior, which indicates a low presence of this problem in the educational institution.
