The clayey soils of the city of Chulucanas represent a challenge in the stabilization of subgrades, since these have low bearing capacities. For this reason, the objective was to analyze the behavior of clayey soils stabilized with lime at 5.00% and powdered residue of fan shell at 15.00%, 30.00% and 45.00%, both with respect to the weight of the soil, where the physicalmechanical properties were evaluated under repetitive tests, above all, of modified proctor and CBR. It is well known that if the soil's bearing capacity (CBR) is greater than 6.00%, the soil does not need stabilization or improvement, and according to what was determined, the conventional average CBR was 4.00%, while for the experimental ones it was 20.33% (1st ad.), 26.78% (2nd ad.) and 21.56% (3rd ad.), of which, it was possible to determine the optimal experimental dose under the 2nd addition, which generated an average CBR at 95% of 26.06%, with an MDSv MDSv of 45.00%. 06%, with a MDSv of 1.679 g/cm3 and OCH of 19.02% in test pit 2, whose cost per m2 was S/. 59.86, compared to a conventional stabilization with cement of S/. 75.93, being lower by 1.27%, which, when evaluated as a test section, showed an in situ CBR of 22.15%, being optimal for construction.
