Resumen
En el contexto universitario, es común que los estudiantes enfrenten diversas dificultades que pueden desencadenar altos niveles de evitación experiencial y ansiedad, esta problemática afecta en el bienestar psicológico y académico de los universitarios, es por ello que se realizó esta investigación, teniendo como objetivo general: determinar la relación entre Evitación Experiencial y la Ansiedad en estudiantes universitarios de una universidad privada de Chiclayo, 2023, y como objetivos específicos: identificar los niveles de evitación experiencial y ansiedad, según sexo. El estudio empleó un enfoque cuantitativo y de alcance correlacional, con un diseño no experimental, transversal-prospectivo. La muestra estuvo compuesta por 229 estudiantes mediante un muestreo no probabilístico de tipo intencional. El cuestionario de Aceptación y Acción-II (AAQ-II) y la escala de Ansiedad Generalizada (GAD-7) fueron los
instrumentos utilizados para la recogida de datos. Los resultados mostraron una correlación positiva y significativa entre la evitación experiencial y la ansiedad. De igual manera un alto nivel de evitación experiencial y ansiedad presente en los estudiantes, resaltando que no hubieron diferencias significativas según el sexo.
In the university context, it is common for students to face various difficulties that can trigger high levels of anxiety and experiential avoidance, this problem affects the psychological and academic well-being of university students, that is why this research was conducted, having as general objective: to determine the relationship between experiential avoidance and anxiety in university students of a private university in Chiclayo, 2023, and as specific objectives: to identify the levels of experiential avoidance and anxiety, according to gender. The study used a quantitative and correlational approach, with a non-experimental, cross-sectional-prospective design. The sample consisted of 229 students through a non-probabilistic purposive sampling.
