Análisis de la metodología y enfoque del Valor Social Integrado (VSI): una revisión bibliográfica (2014-2022)

Abstract

La investigación tuvo como objetivo dar a conocer la metodología del Valor Social Integrado - VSI, mediante la creación de una estructura modelo de ejecución en la realidad peruana. El método desarrollado es de tipo cualitativo, básico y nivel descriptivo, teniendo como instrumento el análisis documental. Se examinaron documentos relacionados con el VSI, identificando temas comunes, tendencias y brechas en el conocimiento. El VSI es una metodología para cuantificar el valor social generado por organizaciones en diferentes fases, comenzando con la formación de un equipo y un calendario, seguido de la identificación de grupos de interés y entrevistas para comprender el valor social. Luego, se cuantifican los resultados subjetivamente y se implementa un proceso de feedback y mejora continua. Desde su evolución en 2014 en España, el VSI ha adoptado un enfoque multidimensional que incluye sostenibilidad y bienestar social, y ha identificado variantes como el valor emocional, la cuantificación por género y la contabilidad de stakeholders. Los resultados proporcionan una base sólida para comprender el impacto del VSI en la sociedad y las organizaciones. Este enfoque crítico y analítico destaca la importancia del VSI en la toma de decisiones estratégicas, subrayando su relevancia como herramienta integral para medir y gestionar el valor social en las organizaciones, contribuyendo a un enfoque empresarial más sostenible, responsable y consciente de las necesidades sociales actuales y futuras.

The research aimed to make the VSI methodology known through the creation of an execution model structure in the Peruvian reality. It was a qualitative, basic, and descriptive-level study, achieved through a methodology based on document analysis. Documents related to the VSI were examined, identifying common themes, trends, and knowledge gaps. The VSI is a methodology to quantify the social value generated by organizations in different phases, beginning with the formation of a team and a schedule, followed by the identification of stakeholders and interviews to understand the social value. Then, the results are subjectively quantified, and a feedback and continuous improvement process is implemented. Since its evolution in 2014 in Spain, the VSI has adopted a multidimensional approach that includes sustainability and social well-being and has identified variants such as emotional value, gender quantification, and stakeholder accounting. The results provide a solid foundation for understanding the impact of the VSI on society and organizations. This critical and analytical approach highlights the importance of the VSI in strategic decision-making, underscoring its relevance as an integral tool for measuring and managing social value in organizations, contributing to a more sustainable, responsible, and socially aware business approach to current and future needs.
