Resumen
El presente trabajo tuvo como objetivo general diseñar un programa de hábitos de estudio para potenciar la comprensión lectora en estudiantes del cuarto grado de primaria. La investigación se basó en un paradigma positivista, fundamentado en el enfoque cuantitativo de tipo no experimental a nivel descriptivo. La muestra consistió en treinta y uno estudiantes, seleccionados mediante el método no probabilístico con carácter intencional, a quienes se les aplicó un test para medir la comprensión lectora, el mismo que tiene valoraciones altas de validez (1.000) y confiabilidad (0.81), que está direccionado a evaluar la comprensión lectora en sus tres niveles: literal, inferencial y criterial. Se obtuvo como resultado diagnóstico que más del 60% de los evaluados se ubican en inicio y en proceso, presentándose serias limitaciones en estos dos últimos niveles. En conclusión, al evidenciar dicha problemática se propone planificar el “Programa de hábitos de estudio” que contiene una serie de talleres que integra la parte creativa e imaginativa, complementándose con lecturas, imágenes, títeres, marionetas, etc. Lo que se busca es que los participantes tengan una mejor comprensión lectora en ambos niveles: criterial e inferencial.
The general objective of the work was to design a study habits program to enhance reading comprehension in fourth grade primary school students. The research was based on a positivist paradigm, based on a non – experimental quantitative approach at a descriptive level. The sample consisted of a thirty – one fourth grade students, selected through the non – probabilistic method on an intentional basis, to whom a test was applied to measure reading comprehension, which has high validity ratings (1.000) and reliability (0.81), which is aimed at evaluating reading comprehension at its three levels: literal, inferential and criterial. The diagnostic result was obtained that more than 60% of those evaluated are in the beginning and in process, presenting serious limitations in these last two levels. In conclusion, by evidencing this problem, it is proposed to plan the “Study Habits Program that contains a series of workshops that integrate the creative and imaginative part, complemented with readings, images, puppets, marionettes, etc. What is sought is for participants to have better reading comprehension at the both levels: criterial and inferential.
