Resumen
El clima social familiar involucra la apreciación que tiene cada persona sobre la atmósfera dentro del hogar. Por lo tanto, si este ambiente incluye diversos aspectos negativos repercute gravemente en cualquier individuo, más aún en estudiantes que están pasando por una etapa llena de cambios como la adolescencia. Esta investigación tuvo como objetivo general determinar el nivel de clima social familiar en estudiantes de cuarto de secundaria con bajo rendimiento y como objetivos específicos identificar el nivel de las dimensiones de relación, desarrollo e indicar el nivel de la dimensión de estabilidad. Asimismo, fue un estudio no experimental de tipo descriptivo y se empleó una muestra censal conformada por 110
estudiantes aproximadamente. Para evaluar la variable se utilizó la Escala de Clima Social Familia (FES) de R.H. Moos. y E.J. Trickett adaptada en Perú por los autores César Ruíz Alva y Eva Guerra (1993). Se obtuvo como resultados un nivel Muy Mala en el clima social familiar, así como en sus dimensiones relación, desarrollo y estabilidad. Por consiguiente, se concluye que los estudiantes de cuarto de secundaria con bajo rendimiento perciben un entorno familiar hostil y desfavorable que afecta notoriamente en su desempeño académico.
The family social climate involves the appreciation that each person has of the atmosphere within the home. Therefore, if this environment includes various negative aspects, it has a serious impact on any individual, even more so on students who are going through a stage full of changes such as adolescence. The general objective of this research was to determine the level of family social climate in low-performing fourth-year high school students, and the specific objectives were to identify the level of the dimensions of relationship, development, and indicate the level of the dimension of stability. Likewise, it was a non-experimental study of a descriptive type and a census sample consisting of approximately 110 students was used. To evaluate the variable, the Family Social Climate Scale (FES) by R.H. was used. Moos. and E.J. Trickett adapted in Peru by authors César Ruíz Alva and Eva Guerra (1993). The results were a Very Bad level in the family social climate, as well as in its relationship, development and stability dimensions. Therefore, it is concluded that fourth-year high school students with low performance perceive a hostile and unfavorable family environment that significantly affects their academic performance.
