Resumen
Un profesional en enfermería líder desarrolla tareas en entornos que cambian rápidamente y que requieren negociaciones constantes para abordar mejor los objetivos de la organización, pero manteniéndose fiel a los valores y perspectivas previstos por la profesión de enfermería, con lo cual la presente investigación formuló como. Objetivo: comprender el liderazgo ejercido en los profesionales agremiados en la Asociación de Escuelas y Facultades de Enfermería del Ecuador, 2023. Metodología: investigación cualitativa con abordaje descriptivo, interpretativo con grupos focales. La población la conformo 1200 enfermeras agremiadas a la Asociación Ecuatoriana de la república del Ecuador, cuya sede conformó el escenario de estudio. El muestreo fue no probabilístico por conveniencia y la muestra se alcanzó con 16 enfermeras por criterios de selección, saturación y redundancia congregadas en 4 grupos focales de cuatro integrantes cada uno. Para la recolección de datos se utilizó la entrevista semiestructurada a profundidad, validada por 3 expertos. Y por estudio piloto para evaluar los aspectos metodológicos y procedimentales y con ello se procesaron los datos recopilados a través de análisis de contenido, la investigación se rigió en principios éticos y de rigor científico. El estudio develo tres categorías: Liderazgo marcado por la profesionalidad. Connotaciones del ejercicio del liderazgo con responsabilidades en la propia profesión. Inestabilidad laboral con ley que no permite escalafonario y mejora de sueldos en enfermería. Y como conclusión, las participantes señalan experimentar un liderazgo marcado por la profesionalidad, en espera de mejoras salariales y equilibrio en tiempo de trabajo y salario justos.
A nursing leader professional develops tasks in rapidly changing environments that require constant negotiations to better address the organization's objectives, but remaining faithful to the values and perspectives provided by the nursing profession, with which the present research formulated as. Objective: To understand the leadership exercised by professionals affiliated with the Association of Nursing Schools and Faculties of Ecuador, 2023. Methodology: Qualitative research with a descriptive, interpretive approach with focus groups. The population was made up of 1,200 nurses affiliated with the Ecuadorian Association of the Republic of Ecuador, whose headquarters formed the study setting. The sampling was non-probabilistic for convenience and the sample was reached with 16 nurses by selection, saturation and redundancy criteria, gathered in 4 focus groups of four members each. For data collection, the in-depth semi-structured interview was used, validated by 3 experts. And by pilot study to evaluate the methodological and procedural aspects and with it the data collected were processed through content analysis, the research was governed by ethical principles and scientific rigor. The study revealed three categories: Leadership marked by professionalism. Connotations of the exercise of leadership with responsibilities in the profession itself. Job instability with a law that does not allow career ladders and salary improvements in nursing. And in conclusion, the participants indicate experiencing a leadership marked by professionalism, waiting for salary improvements and balance in working time and fair salary.
