Eating disorders are common potentially severe conditions that have devastating effects on both the physical and emotional health and overall quality of life of those affected, leading to a higher risk of morbidity and mortality. This research employed a quantitative, non-experimental, cross-sectional approach, aimed at determining the level of risk for nutritional disorders among adolescents at a private educational institution in Chiclayo, 2024. The sample consisted of 93 adolescents who met the inclusion criteria: ages 14 to 17 years from the 3rd, 4th, and 5th years of secondary school, informed consent signed by their parents, and informed assent from the adolescents themselves; data collection was conducted using the Eating Attitudes Test (EAT26) which assesses the risk of eating disorders. The results show that 54.8% presented a low risk, 39.8% presented a moderate risk, and 5.4% presented a high risk of suffering from eating disorders. The adolescents of I.E.P. Santo Toribio de Mogrovejo demonstrated a low risk level regarding eating disorders, likely due to the ongoing efforts of parents and guardians to monitor their diet and physical activity.
