Inteligencia emocional y conductas antisociales en adolescentes de 4to y 5to de secundaria de una institución educativa nacional, Chiclayo 2023

Abstract

En la adolescencia la inteligencia emocional toma un papel relevante en relación a las conductas antisociales, ya que en este período se presentan cambios significativos como parte de su desarrollo y la adquisición de competencias, que los ayudará afrontar diversos desafíos de la vida, identificar factores de riesgos y prevenir conductas problemáticas. El objetivo general fue conocer la relación entre inteligencia emocional y conductas antisociales en adolescentes de 4to y 5to de secundaria de una Institución educativa nacional de Chiclayo, identificar los niveles y la relación entre dimensiones. La investigación fue de diseño y tipo no experimenta l correlacional, conformada por 180 estudiantes de ambos sexos, entre 15 a 17 años. Se utilizó el Inventario de Inteligencia Emocional Bar-On ICE- NA adapta por Ugarriza y Pajares (2002) y el Cuestionario de Conducta Antisocial adaptada por Ochoa (2018). El resultado que se obtuvo entre la relación entre Inteligencia emocional y conductas antisociales fue de -0.466 y p-valor <0.001, lo que describe una correlación negativa de nivel medio altamente significativa, en cuanto al nivel de inteligencia emocional en los adolescentes predomina la capacidad emociona l muy desarrollada y se identificó que existe un riesgo elevado de conductas antisociales en los adolescentes; además existe una relación negativa significativa entre inteligencia emocional y las dimensiones de conducta antisocial, del mismo modo, entre la conducta antisocial y las dimensiones de inteligencia emocional. Por ello se concluye, que en cuanto la inteligenc ia emocional se desarrolle de manera óptima y adecuada, menor será la probabilidad de experimentar conductas antisociales.In adolescence, emotional intelligence plays a relevant role in relation to antisocial behaviors, since during this period significant changes occur as part of their development and the acquisition of skills, which will help them face various life challe nges, identify factors of risks and prevent problematic behaviors. The general objective was to know the relationship between emotional intelligence and antisocial behaviors in adolescents in 4th and 5th grade of secondary school at a national educational institution in Chiclayo, identifying the levels and the relationship between dimensions. The research was of a non-experimental correlational design and type, made up of 180 students of both sexes, between 15 and 17 years old. The Bar-On Emotional Intelligence Inventory ICE-NA adapted by Ugarriza and Pajares (2002) and the Antisocial Behavior Questionnaire adapted by Ochoa (2018) were used. The result obtained between the relationship between emotional intelligence and antisocial behaviors was -0.466 and p-value <0.001, which describes a highly significant medium- level negative correlation, in terms of the level of emotional intelligence in adolescents, the ability predominates. highly developed emotional state and it was identified that there is a high risk of antisocial behavior in adolescents; Furthermore, there is a significant negative relationship between emotiona l intelligence and the dimensions of antisocial behavior, in the same way, between antisocia l behavior and the dimensions of emotional intelligence. Therefore, it is concluded that as emotional intelligence is developed optimally and appropriately, the lower the probability of experiencing antisocial behavior will be.
