Resumen
La presente investigación se enmarca en la necesidad de mejorar el aprendizaje de los estudiantes de nivel secundario, atiende a los bajos niveles de logro encontrados en el desarrollo de las competencias del área y utiliza los recursos tecnológicos, tan comunes hoy en día, como medios para facilitar el aprendizaje. El objetivo principal de esta investigación fue determinar la influencia del método histórico en la plataforma Moodle para mejorar la comprensión histórica en los estudiantes del nivel secundario, en el área de Ciencias Sociales. La investigación se ubica dentro del paradigma positivista analítico y fue de tipo experimental dado que se empleó la plataforma Moodle, como estímulo para mejorar la comprensión histórica en un grupo experimental, además, se contó con un grupo control. Se utilizaron los recursos y actividades que el entorno virtual ofrece para el desarrollo de las sesiones de aprendizaje, tomando en cuenta la metodología PACIE. Entre los principales hallazgos se destaca que los estudiantes mejoraron de manera eficaz su rendimiento en comparación al pretest con lo cual se evidencia que el uso de la Plataforma Moodle a partir del método histórico, mejora significativamente la comprensión histórica en los estudiantes del segundo grado de educación secundaria de la I.E. “Amalia Campos de Beleván” del distrito de Pítipo.
This research is framed in the need to improve the learning of secondary level students, it addresses the low levels of achievement found in the development of the competencies of the area and uses technological resources, so common today, as means to facilitate learning. The main objective of this research was to determine the influence of the historical method on the Moodle platform to improve historical understanding in secondary school students, in the area of Social Sciences. The research is located within the analytical positivist paradigm and was of an experimental type given that the Moodle platform was used, as a stimulus to improve historical understanding in an experimental group, in addition, a control group was counted. The resources and activities that the virtual platform offers for the development of the learning sessions were used, taking into account the PACIE methodology. Among the main findings, it stands out that the students improved their performance effectively compared to the pretest, which shows that the use of the Moodle Platform based on the historical method, significantly improves the historical understanding in the students of the second grade of secondary education of the I.E.
