Resumen
En los últimos años se han ido incrementando nuevos medios de comunicación, haciendo que la manera en que las personas se comunican cambie, en especial los adolescentes que están sumergidos en la tecnología, por lo que son ellos quienes corren el riesgo de tener un uso desmedido de las redes sociales que con el tiempo puede volverse una adicción. La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar el nivel de adicción a redes sociales en estudiantes de una Institución Educativa Pública, Chiclayo, 2023. Siguiendo los lineamientos de un diseño no experimental que se emplea de manera transversal y de tipo descriptivo. Participaron en el estudio 88 estudiantes de una Institución Educativa Pública de 5° año de secundaria de ambos sexos entre 16 a 18 años de edad. Para la medición de la variable, se hizo uso del Cuestionario de Adicción a Redes Sociales (ARS) construido y validado por Escurra y Salas (2014), el cual
permitió evaluar 3 dimensiones, la obsesión a redes sociales, la falta de control personal en el uso de las redes sociales y el uso excesivo de las redes sociales. Como resultados, se hallaron porcentajes similares para los tres niveles de adicción a redes sociales en los estudiantes. Se concluye que no existen diferencias significativas en los niveles de adicción a redes sociales en los estudiantes
In recent years, new media have been increased, making the way people communicate to change, especially adolescents who are submerged in technology, so they are the ones that are the risk of having an excessive use of social networks that over time can be turned on. The present investigation aims to determine the level of addiction to social networks in students of a Public Educational Institution, Chiclayo, 2023. Following the guidelines of a non experimental design that is used in a transversal and of a descriptive manner. Students of 80 students from the secondary school of the second year of both sexes participated in study. For the measurement of the variable, it was made use of the questionnaire of addiction to social networks (ARS) built and validated by drafts and salaries (2014), which allowed to evaluate 3 dimensions, obsession to social networks, the lack of personal control in the use of social networks and the excessive use of social networks. As results, similar percentages were found for the three levels of advice on social networks in students. It is concluded that there are no significant differences in the levels of addiction to social networks in the students.
