Apego parental y funcionamiento familiar en estudiantes del nivel secundario de un colegio privado de la ciudad Chiclayo, 2023

Abstract

Conocemos que el primer círculo social de desenvolvimiento del individuo es la familia, donde se transfieren elementos afectivos y cognitivos. En tal sentido, se ha investigado el funcionamiento familiar y los estilos de apego parental, teniendo como objetivo general determinar la relación entre las variables, así mismo, el nivel de funcionamiento familiar y el de los estilos de apego parental. El estudio comprende un diseño no experimental transversal, de tipo correlacional. Una muestra de tipo censal que estuvo conformada por 275 estudiantes adolescentes de 14 a 17 años (M=15.69-DE=0.69), donde 191 son varones y 84 mujeres. Se utilizaron instrumentos como el CaMir-R y APGAR FAMILIAR. En esta línea, los resultados evidencian una relación positiva de los estilos de Apego Parental y Funcionamiento Familiar con el apego seguro y la estructura familiar; caso contrario con el apego preocupado, evitativo, desorganizado y permisividad parental. Además, se observó mayor prevalencia del nivel bajo de Funcionamiento Familiar y con menor, el nivel alto. Asimismo, se ha identificado que el nivel predominante de estilo de apego parental es el desorganizado, así como bajos niveles de apego seguro. Se concluye que el desarrollo de un apego seguro en el adolescente implica un nivel alto de funcionamiento familiar, mientras que, la predominancia de niveles bajos se relaciona con los estilos de apego preocupado, evitativo y desorganizado. Finalmente, la presencia de niveles altos de apego desorganizado genera vulnerabilidad ante escenarios de violencia, así como, niveles bajos de apego seguro, dificultad para desarrollar comportamientos de adaptación el entorno social.

We know that the first social circle of development of the individual is the family, where affective and cognitive elements are transferred. In this sense, family functioning and parental attachment styles have been investigated, with the general objective of determining the relationship between the variables, as well as the level of family functioning and that of parental attachment styles. The study comprises a transversal non-experimental, correlational design. A census-type sample that was made up of 275 adolescent students from 14 to 17 years old (M=15.69-DE=0.69), where 191 are boys and 84 women. Instruments such as the CaMir-R and APGAR FAMILIAR were used. In this line, the results show a positive relationship of the styles of Parental Attachment and Family Functioning with secure attachment and family structure; otherwise with concerned, avoidant, disorganized attachment and parental permissiveness. In addition, a higher prevalence of the low level of Family Functioning and with lower, the high level was observed. Likewise, it has been identified that the predominant level of parental attachment style is disorganized, as well as low levels of secure attachment. It is concluded that the development of a secure attachment in the adolescent implies a high level of family functioning, while the predominance of low levels is related to the styles of worried, avoidant and disorganized attachment. Finally, the presence of high levels of disorganized attachment generates vulnerability to scenarios of violence, as well as low levels of secure attachment, difficulty in developing behaviors of adaptation to the social environment.
