Parental stress is a process that arises from the demands and demands linked to the role, but their work becomes more complex when they have a child with autism, the diagnosis probably exacerbates the stress levels in the father or mother. One of its main factors is the scarce personal resources for adequate coping with stressful situations. Therefore, this study aims to determine the level of stress in parents of children with autism, identifying it according to dimensions, sex and age. The research is based on a non-experimental, cross-sectional and descriptive study, with a population made up of 100 fathers and mothers, whose ages range between 20 and 50 years of age (M=31.2, SD=7.58), with children with autism who attend children's therapy centers, we will work with the entire population, using a census-type sample. The abbreviated version of the Parental Stress Questionnaire by Sánchez-Griñán (2015) was used. The Jamovi program and Microsoft Excel were used to perform the statistical analysis and obtain results.
