Resumen
El objetivo de este estudio es proponer estrategias de diseño basadas en la arquitectura sensorial para mejorar el aprendizaje de los estudiantes en la IE 10040 Santiago Cassinelli Chiappe de Chiclayo. La investigación se llevó a cabo mediante un estudio descriptivo con enfoque mixto; se aplicaron técnicas como estudios observacionales, encuestas, análisis documental y entrevistas a expertos. Esta muestra estuvo conformada por docentes y personal administrativo de la IE 10040 Santiago Cassinelli Chiappe. Los resultados mostraron que el estado actual de la infraestructura y el entorno físico influyen significativamente en la experiencia sensorial y el bienestar de los estudiantes, afectando su desarrollo. Las dimensiones analizadas incluyen la percepción visual, auditiva, táctil, olfativa y espacial, identificando áreas de mejora en iluminación, acústica, materialidad y disposición del mobiliario. Con base en estos resultados, se propusieron estrategias de intervención arquitectónica enfocadas en la estimulación multisensorial, con el objetivo de mejorar espacios educativos y generar un entorno que favorezca el aprendizaje académico, mediante la comprensión de información, la participación en actividades en el aula y la capacidad de concentración, así como su bienestar.
The objective of this study is to propose design strategies based on sensory architecture to improve student learning at the Santiago Cassinelli Chiappe School (IE 10040) in Chiclayo. The research was conducted using a descriptive, mixed-methods approach, employing techniques such as observational studies, surveys, document analysis, and expert interviews. The sample consisted of teachers and administrative staff from the Santiago Cassinelli Chiappe School (IE 10040). The results showed that the current state of the infrastructure and physical environment significantly influences students' sensory experience and well-being, impacting their development. The dimensions analyzed included visual, auditory, tactile, olfactory, and spatial perception, identifying areas for improvement in lighting, acoustics, materials, and furniture arrangement. Based on these results, architectural intervention strategies focused on multisensory stimulation were proposed, with the aim of improving educational spaces and creating an environment that fosters academic learning through information comprehension, participation in classroom activities, and concentration, as well as overall well-being.
