Vocación turística en el distrito de Zaña

Abstract

La actividad turística, se fundamenta como un pilar fundamental en el desarrollo de comunidades, generando empleo e ingresos económicos, de igual forma ayuda a que los recursos turísticos existentes puedan tener un mayor estado de conservación y poder seguir siendo una fuente económica. Por lo tanto, se ha evidenciado que el distrito de Zaña cuenta con recursos turísticos con una importancia histórica, cultural y natural, sin embargo, no se han realizado investigaciones donde se pueda conocer el estado de estos recursos y si sus características permiten el adecuado desarrollo turístico de la zona, por lo tanto, se desconoce su vocación turística. Bajo esta premisa, se tiene como objetivo de la presente investigación analizar la vocación turística en el distrito de Zaña, bajo un enfoque metodológico cualitativo, utilizando las entrevistas a profundidad que fueron dirigidos a pobladores, profesionales y funcionarios ligados a la actividad turística del distrito, en la cual se obtuvo como resultado que se tiene una vocación turística mediana, donde se ha denotado la existencia de recursos turísticos con gran potencial, sin embargo no se cuenta con una infraestructura y planta turística, ni servicios adecuados para la actividad turística, de igual forma se ha evidenciado desafíos para la gestión pública del turismo en cuanto el desarrollo de planes turísticos para el mejoramiento y/o conservación de los recursos, afectando de forma negativa el desarrollo turístico de la zona.

Tourism is a fundamental pillar of community development, generating employment and income. It also helps ensure that existing tourism resources are better preserved and remain a source of income. Therefore, it has been shown that the Zaña district has tourist resources of historical, cultural, and natural importance. However, no research has been conducted to determine the status of these resources and whether their characteristics allow for the adequate tourist development of the area. Therefore, the district's tourist potential is unknown. Under this premise, the objective of this research is to analyze the tourist vocation in the district of Zaña, under a qualitative methodological approach, using in-depth interviews that were directed to residents, professionals and officials linked to the tourist activity of the district, in which the result was obtained that is a medium tourist vocation, where the existence of tourist resources with great potential has been denoted, however there is no infrastructure and tourist plant, nor adequate services for the tourist activity, in the same way challenges have been evidenced for the public management of tourism in terms of the development of tourist plans for the improvement and / or conservation of resources, negatively affecting the tourist development of the area.
