Mejora de la gestión de inventarios en la Junta de Usuarios Chancay Lambayeque para incrementar el nivel de servicio

Abstract

La presente investigación tiene como objetivo proponer mejoras en la gestión de inventarios de la Junta de Usuarios Chancay Lambayeque con el propósito de mejorar el nivel de servicio. Se llevó a cabo un diagnóstico organizacional para obtener indicadores más precisos que reflejen el bajo nivel de servicio. Asimismo, se utilizó un diagrama de Ishikawa y un análisis ABC para identificar las posibles causas del problema y determinar los materiales con mayor cantidad de salidas del almacén. Luego se evaluaron tres modelos de gestión de inventarios y se seleccionó aquel que mejor se adaptaba a las características de la organización. Además, se propuso la implementación de un software de control de inventarios y la codificación de productos para facilitar la identificación rápida y precisa de los materiales tanto en el sistema como en la ubicación física del almacén. Como resultado de estas propuestas, permite reducir el quiebre de stock un 86,68% y disminuir el costo financiero debido al exceso de stock un 33%. Por último, se realizó un análisis económico que arrojó un beneficio costo de 1,39 soles.

The present research aims to propose improvements in the inventory management of the Board of Users Chancay Lambayeque in order to improve the level of service. An organizational diagnosis was carried out to obtain more accurate indicators that reflect the low level of service. In addition, an Ishikawa diagram and an ABC analysis were used to identify the possible causes of the problem and determine the materials with the highest number of exits from the warehouse. Then three inventory management models were evaluated and the one that best adapted to the characteristics of the organization was selected. As a result of these proposals, it reduces stock-outs by 86.68% and reduces the financial cost due to excess stock by 33%. Finally, an economic analysis was carried out that yielded a cost benefit of 1.39 soles.
